Waxing Prep
- Advil/Ibruprofen can be taken before appointment to relive pain
- Make sure to grow your hair out to about 1/4 inch
- Intake of alcohol and caffeine should be limited before your appointment
- Being on your cycle isnt a problem, but you may be a little extra sensitive
After-Care
- Do not wear clothes that might be too tight. You want to “air out” the waxed are as much as possible.
- Heat and friction are the two things that might cause most irritation.
- Exfoliate with a non-chemical scrub 2-3 days a week to avoid ingrown.
- Aloe Vera works great for any tenderness after your wax.
